What to check before choosing one
Cassette units need a suspended ceiling with enough void depth to house the unit and its condensate drainage — not every property has this readily available. They’re generally run as part of a multi-split or VRF system rather than as a single standalone unit, since they’re most commonly specified for larger or commercial rooms where more than one cassette (or a mix of cassettes and other indoor unit types) is often needed.
